Working on Leo ref for Mystic Sword au :) I like the right kimono better than the left, but the colors on the left work better :) So I'll probably rework the design, I like the colors tho <3

Annabeth Chase has probably never gotten used to death being a permanent thing in life. like, the first time ever she saw one of her closest friends die was thalia, and she came back to life a couple years later and became an immortal warrior. then she saw percy, someone who probably meant just as much if not more to annabeth than thalia, die in an explosion. Then, he crashes his own funeral. Then her cousin Magnus dies and so does her friend Leo. She goes to her cousin’s funeral and surprise surprise, guess who’s there: Magnus fricking Chase in almost perfect health. (Ik he isn’t technically alive but eh). Then when Annabeth goes back to chb, she gets news Leo’s alive! So imagine how she must have felt when jason died. No matter how long it wouldve been, some part of her would always think hes coming back, just like with thalia, just like with percy,just like with leo and magnus. She knows he’ll never come back. But she hopes he does.

Also, if I may add the bit from where they face off against Warren and Hypno when they steal the key. ('Come on swords, its portal time!') I believe the final one is of all the runes together. Sorry for the not so great quality.

I have wondered about the meaning of the runes too. I've kind of settled on it depends on what he is doing, as in if he is portaling or teleporting between them.

Idk if this is unpopular opinion or not but while Percy is like “fuck this demigod stuff I am retired” I think Nico would be working in the underworld in the future like I just have this vision of him in a mix of modern and ancient greek clothing doing missions for Hades collecting some troublesome souls idk helping with the judgement talking shit with the dead making the playlist for their elevators vibing to tragedy by bee gees he kinda enjoys the demigod stuff even if its hella dangerous or whatever
